The Council’s Evening Lectures consist of after-work presentations led by visiting and local
experts on key foreign policy issues. Topics correspond to those identified as yearly areas of
focus within the Great Decisions initiative, America’s longest-standing global affairs education
program. In 2011, we will explore Rebuilding Haiti; American National Security Since 9/11; The
Horn of Africa; and Banks, Governments & Debt Crises. These Public Forums are open to adults,
youth, young professionals and seniors alike! Great Decisions discussion groups are also welcome
to join us as a complement to their own activities.
