Classroom Outreach

The Columbus Council on World Affairs provides customized support to Central Ohio K-12
schools in the form of direct student instruction, simulations, curriculum support for educators
and special presentations.

Culture Camps

During the summer, the Council partners with local organizations, providing global content to
their established summer camps for K-12 youth. Past partners include Thurber House and
Amethyst in Columbus, and The Works in Newark. Session topics range from writing and forensic
science to culinary arts and gardening.
