The Columbus Council on World Affairs convenes our community’s leaders in active global dialogue.
The program advisory committees and networks provide a forum for ongoing discussion, helping
shape outreach content and creating critical community partnerships.
Education Advisory Committee
This committee is comprised of professionals in the field of education representing local schools,
community groups and government. The EAC advises the Council on current and future
programming to ensure quality of content and diversity of participating schools and students.

International Education Network of Central Ohio
Convened to deliver on the great promise of Ohio's Strategic Plan for International Education,
this network of administrators and teachers from the Central Ohio K-12 community works toward
systemic improvements that cross school district boundaries. It is led by the Columbus Council
on World Affairs with support from the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.

Marketing & Communications Committee
This Committee is comprised of Council Board members and staff, and community leaders. It is
responsible for shaping the organization's communication platform, ensuring quality of message and
delivery to the greater community via our various Web, social media, email, direct mail and press

Global Sustainability Network
The Global Sustainability Network is comprised of community leaders with a special interest in global
environmental, social and economic sustainability topics. Members receive timely updates on Council
sustainability-related programs and news, as well as special opportunities to interact with guest experts.
