Through the Council, K-12 youth engage in global awareness, intercultural understanding, and skill development activities. Programs include youth forums, global issues days and culture camps.
The Council works closely with schools, educators and camps to develop curriculum content that explores the global implications of varied subject matter. Through the International Educator of the Year Award, it also honors the contributions of an outstanding teacher.
Business, Academic & Civic Leaders
The Council’s public programs provide a forum for discussion for Columbus leaders. Guest speakers of international esteem explore global topics ranging from foreign policy to sustainability. The annual International Company of the Year Award also highlights the global reach of a local company.
The Council encourages Columbus’ young professionals to participate in the Council’s public programs, including Signature Luncheons and Evening Lectures, to network with peers and build connections for the future.
The Council works closely with area retirement homes to engage older adults in its public program offering, allowing for lively global discussion and debate.
