The Global Report inventories the region’s global data and linkages. Inspired by Professor Chad Alger of The Ohio State University, whose “Columbus in Transition” report in 1974 not only spurred the Council’s founding, but also inspired the Global Report that is now updated every other year measuring global fluency in Greater Columbus. Relevant statistics about global trade, world languages in the schools, and Columbus’ increasingly diverse demographics pepper the report in a sharp, brief summary for use with local and international audiences.
