This fall, our 2nd Year Global Scholars Diploma students were given the opportunity to explore new perspectives on global careers at Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) in New Albany. CVG is a leading supplier of commercial vehicle component systems globally and has facilities across four continents. CVG has been a proud mission partner of CCWA for several years and this year they stepped up and hosted over 200 Global Scholars Diploma students as they explored what it means to be globally competitive and prepare to participate in the global workforce. CVG’s commitment to CCWA has been unwavering and they couldn’t have been more excited to welcome our students to their facilities.

Throughout the day, students participated in a panel discussion with CVG’s top executives, engaging with these professionals to learn about what it takes to thrive in the global market. The GSD students also explored CVG’s Research & Development department, learning about the importance of technological innovation that this local company creates on a global scale. Last but certainly not least, the students participated in an assembly line simulation to understand and practice better communication, team work skills, and much more explained in the day’s press release.
With the support of companies like CVG, our Global Scholars students are prepared early, learning the skills to thrive in the global workforce and as well as global, innovative leaders.
