Meet Kate Kaura

This year we welcome Kate Kaura as one of our Year 3 Global Scholars student project advisors. Kate has years of global education experience; she has taught humanities and social justice topics to university students and at Columbus Academy, in addition to spending time teaching English to children in India. She has worked, volunteered, and studied abroad in India for several years. She has a Master’s and an undergraduate degree in Comparative Studies with minors in International Studies and South Asian Studies from The Ohio State University. Kate is currently finishing a Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University with an emphasis on mental health counseling, as well as social justice. Additionally, Kate has experience guiding students through capstone projects from her time with the Mosaic program here in Columbus. She also likes to teach yoga and meditation and spends time exploring nature with her twin sons as much as possible.
