Letter from the President & CEO
The Columbus Council on World Affairs aims to bring global awareness to the Columbus region and beyond. As the organization has grown over the years, “global awareness” has evolved into many forms, from our Global Scholars Diploma (GSD) which provides young high school students with experiential learning opportunities, to our Global Fluency Training (GFT)
Double Your Impact
We are thrilled to announce that Greif will be matching any donations to the Columbus Council on World Affairs dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. Donate today and your gift will be matched—having a double impact—to support CCWA’s Global Scholars Diploma program.
Global Fluency Training: Ohio Organizations Develop Preferred Provider Partnerships
As many corporations, agencies, and organizations across Ohio seek to bring more investment in the state, and as many Ohio businesses continue striving to be more competitive in markets, they often look beyond borders—not just Ohio’s borders, but more and more beyond national borders.
Global Scholars Career Day: A Day at Commercial Vehicle Group
This fall, our 2nd Year Global Scholars Diploma students were given the opportunity to explore new perspectives on global careers at Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) in New Albany. CVG is a leading supplier of commercial vehicle component systems globally and has facilities across four continents.
Spotlight on CCWA's Interns
An internship with CCWA is a great way for students to experience the non-profit work place and community, while also being immersed in education and global affairs. The Council is fortunate to always have outstanding, hardworking interns who bring developing knowledge in these areas and many more.
