Global Scholars Update: Working with Community Partners

In January, the Global Scholars Diploma program partnered with Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS). Volunteers from CRIS led our Level 2 students through a cultural simulation that focused on building awareness around some of the barriers that New Americans face.

Highlight on a Global Scholar

Brooklin Williams is a senior at Marion Harding High School and a third year Global Scholar student.  As a third-year student, Brooklin is required to complete a Take Action project as the capstone piece of the Global Scholars Diploma program. The Take Action projects are executed independently by Global Scholars students with the guidance of a CCWA advisor.

This fall, our 2nd Year Global Scholars Diploma students were given the opportunity to explore new perspectives on global careers at Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) in New Albany. CVG is a leading supplier of commercial vehicle component systems globally and has facilities across four continents.
