Global Fluency Training Update: Working with University Students
As a student, a world traveler, and a global education enthusiast I wanted to maximize my interests and skills as an intern at the Columbus Council on World Affairs because. The organization's mission to raise global awareness and education in the central Ohio region is inspiring to me.
Global Scholars Update: Working with Community Partners
In January, the Global Scholars Diploma program partnered with Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS). Volunteers from CRIS led our Level 2 students through a cultural simulation that focused on building awareness around some of the barriers that New Americans face.
Highlight on a Global Scholar
Brooklin Williams is a senior at Marion Harding High School and a third year Global Scholar student. As a third-year student, Brooklin is required to complete a Take Action project as the capstone piece of the Global Scholars Diploma program. The Take Action projects are executed independently by Global Scholars students with the guidance of a CCWA advisor.
